Wicked Raptor

I have always been an aviation buff. Back in the 1980's, they had started talking about creating a new air superiority fighter to replace the relatively new F-15 Eagle. Have to think ahead, I suppose. At the time, the aircraft was simply called the ATF: Advanced Tactical Fighter.

Well, jeez, some 20 odd years later.. the ATF has arrived. It is now known as the Lockheed F-22 Raptor. It is a fifth generation, air superiority stealth fighter. They cost $178 million dollars per copy...

Simply put, it is one of the most awe inspiring, wickedest birds to ever take to the air.
